Prof. (Dr.) Dhirendra Kr Singh is a distinguished Periodontist and Oral Implantologist with over two decades of clinical and academic excellence. As the In-Charge of the Department of Dentistry at the Heritage Institute of Medical Sciences (HIMS), Dr. Singh leads the institutional mandate for advanced oral healthcare, specializing in the complex intersection of systemic health and periodontal medicine.
Dr. Singh’s doctoral research is at the forefront of Periodontal Medicine, specifically focusing on the management and oral health surveillance of patients with Diabetes Mellitus. His work explores the bidirectional relationship between chronic inflammatory periodontal disease and glycemic control, aiming to develop protocols that improve systemic outcomes through targeted periodontal intervention.
